Do they deliver it to the venue and set it up....and how much will that be.
Do you have to pay a deposit on things like the cake board and the internal pillars....is that included in the price or is it separate.

Ours cost £50 for delivery and venue set up - but i am not taking on that responsibility!!!
The returnables are costing us £80 - which we will get back when we had them back in

Other than that just can they do exactly what you want :D

    Have fun! xxx

Does the price include set up and cake stand etc? Ask for samples of flavours, ask how many servings you will get. That's all I can think of really

most importantly, what ingredients do they use? are they local/organic?

A friend of mine was at her cousin's wedding - food poisoning! It was sourced to the wedding cake.

A good cake maker will offer a tasting session as well for peace of mind.
It would also be nice to know how far in advance she will be making your cake.

You can expect a delivery/set up charge. If however, you decide to do it yourself, don't expect your cake maker to be liable if anything goes wrong.

How long before the wedding do you make the cake? How do you keep it fresh

If they are taking the cake to the venue you could also ask if they have been to the venue before and know where they set things up etc. At least if you know they have been before you know they wont get lost.
