Make sure you find one that will cover things you have booked before you take out a policy, as some wont have you covered!! Hams of Deb and Lewis of the John both look good, im not sure about hams-Deb, but i know Lewis of John cover you for things you have alreayd booked. Cant remember who i have gone with, something random like insure my wedding lol
i think its just peice of mind than anything, i dont really expect anything to go wrong, but il sleep better knowing im covered haha

If you go on money supermarket, it recommends the best ones and gives you discounts too.. All the ones on there the other week covered deposits paid before the insurance too xxx

I have insurance with E&L. My dress shop went into administration taking my £600 deposit with them. I paid £27 insurance and it covered anything I had already booked upto £1000 plus everything I booked afterwards. They were really helpful when I was trying to get the deposit money back, we eventually got it back from the bank so didn't need to make a claim on the insurance but they were very very helpful.

Our insurance is through Debs. Not sure how much but not more than £60 it was done half way through planning so after plenty of deposits were put in place & things booked etc. they have a range of price/plans so will suit to all budgets.

Hi all, just insured my wedding with E&L - they were recommended by a friend. Only cost me £28.60 and covers all eventualities, deposits, illness, cancellation, non show of suppliers etc
