Can i join Dove? :-) pretty please. Ex husband was in the artillery in larkhill, salisbury.........plus my dad was army for 24 years (they asked him to stay, so he ended up doing 2 years above the normal service). So i can kinda help with things as did it last time :-) and army life is ALL i know lol.

H2B's in the Navy, last posting HMS Endurance... in the antarctic (could you get any further away?!) Now posted down a big hole in London forecasting the weather, but brilliantly home every other week. I could get used to this... sadly I know it won't last!
So ladies... are you going to have your man in uniform on the big day. I am which could be interesting as I get the giggles eevry time I see him in it!

My H2B is based at Chillwell Nottingham but we have a house together in Middlesbrough, he only gets to come home about once a fortnight at the moment which is really hard.

oh gosh that will be hard! it took alot for me to adjust to not seeing him all the time.in me past relationships id seen them everyday and was never apart. so going from that to only seeing him every so often was tough. still trying to get used to it and its been nearly 3 yrs now! quite glad hes leaving though so we can be a "normal" family and have him home everynight...not looking forward to his mess though haha.x

I love being a 'normal' couple when Ray's about, but I do find it hard after a couple of weeks! I guess I'm so used to him being away I kind of miss being on my own a bit. I have my routines and they get mucked up a bit when he's home! When's a girl supposed to find the time to shave her legs?

Im really untidy when H2B isnt home then rush home from work to do a "mad tidy" so its just how he likes it when he gets home. His room on camp is all at right angles.

how do you guys keep in touch with ur h2bs? we only have msn, so its webcam everynite. the kids love it. be nice if i could ring him though and have a proper conversation! sometimes hes sneaky and uses the phone in the mess to ring me lol x

Me and Rob both have 02 unlimited mobiles so we talk on the phone every night and text all day, he is also uk based as he is part of the ART at the moment so at least it keeps him out of Afghan for the next two years which I am really happy about, before that he was at Rock Barracks in Woodbridge which was a 5 hour drive away and the phone reception was a nightmare.

if the both of u av it its free, its jst like on the phone but u see each other av ad partys in the house an we av ad the skype on so jason can see an he has a drink wi the guys so we all can chat a wud b so lost if we never ad that. x
