Well my parents dont like H2B's parents, alot of history behind that. But i suppose u just have to hope and pray on the day it will all be fine. I know my parents wouldnt start an arguement but wouldnt put it past his parents to. Fingers crossed it will be ok though and I hope it is for u to.

if you think they will cause problems - tell them they can't come unless they behave or they will be thrown out!

You shouldnt have to be worrying about whether or not people are going to start a war at your wedding!

You need to tell them in no uncertain terms that they behave or they arent welcome as possum said - and if they show the slightest hint of having a go at anyone they are out!

Stick your foot down love!! Not easy but you gotta point out you are pumping a LOT of money into YOUR day and if they cant behave then stay away!!!
Im in the same boat, quite a few of his family are horrid when drunkio whereas me and mine are silly, loud and sing a lot. Im not beyond putting guests in their place and if they dont want to simmer down then they will be removed... End of!

That sounds SO aggressive... Im really not like that at all lolx xx

try not to worry to much girls - im sure no one will cause any trouble as its your wedding day - they wont want to be seen as the ones who spoil it all for you, and if they do, get BMan / Ushers to chuck them out x x

I have a similar problem, my parents are spit and my mum likes dramatics. However I have my brothers wedding comming up first... in fact only 10weeks! So I've volunteered to be peace-keeper (My idea of peace keeping is gonna be headbutting anyone who tries to ruin my brothers day haha). Pete and I have already spoken to a couple people we trust to keep there eyes open for tantrums or dramatics when it comes to our day.

The bottom line is they are all adults (presumably) and therefore should be able to behave for one day, because they should love you more than they love conflict. Cx

my dads family have fought at every major family occassion since 1978, so i ahev people on the standby and they will be leaving the reception if everything kicks off, but in the meantime, its my day, my way, so im not gonna stress, coz im believing that nothings gonna happen.if they dont want so see each other, they dont come.end of!!!!!!!

All we have to do is keep ME away from my MIL and SIL to be lmao!!! My mum doesn't think to much of my dad but they are always civil to each other so other than that we should be all ok!
