you can have a bank account before 21 ......(please stop putting capital letters at the start of each word )

Hey Hun, there are quite a few people who've got married whilst at uni.

I thought you could get a bank acc at any age - I've had one since I was fourteen, although my parents had to set it up. But I set up one on my own when I was sixteen, so not sure what you mean when you say you can't save until you're 21.

Sorry but I was married at 19 (met at 17 got engaged on my 18th and married 10 months later), yes it didn't last obviously as Im engaged ow but it did last for 12 years and I had two beautiful girls from it but in my mind age is just a number so how old anyone is shouldnt be a factor as long as they are 18 and above!!

This time round my wedding isn't until 2015 and Ive been planning awhile already, if you want to plan now then I say go for it!
You don't have to do anything major just yet do what Im doing and get the small details like table dec's, garter shoes, thank you gifts. If you see something you like and you have the money then get it. You can do the big things like booking the venue, photographer, dressses etc in two years time but there is nothing you stopping you doing the small things now and age has nothing to do with it.......like I said I was married two months BEFORE my 19th birthday so your already older then I was when I got married!

As for the bank account all 3 of my kids have bank accounts and they are 3, 10 and 13 so why can't you have one hunni, is there a reason??

I do agree, age doesn't matter. Like Natalie said all depends on your maturity.... But I would enjoy the engagement for awhile xxxx

i met my H2B 4 weeks after i turned 18 and he moved in 3 months later and weve been together ever since age is not nothing to do with it

ps i got my first savings account when i was 7 and have had my current one since i was 16 (for my EMA and college/ uni payments) so i dont really understand why u need to wait x

True about trust accounts but the way its phrased its like she cant get any account? If its a trust fund then it can be protected up until the age of 21 x

Thank you for all your comments i agree age is just a number and i'm sorry for the way i phrased i can't get a account till I'm 21 i do have a account since i was 16, but my grandad set me up a account and i cant touch it till I'm 21 that's why i say i cant do anything really till I'm 21 like book the venue, registrar get my dress bridesmaids dresses etc... My Rings and planning my wedding When I get my account I can start getting everything we need and plan my wedding and hopefully have everything ready before we tie the knot I Finish Uni Next year and am planning on getting a job to get money and help out, my fiance is looking for a job to, hard to find a job in this economic climate. I agree HailsZ i will just do the small things for now and start the major planning and work in 2014. We are both mature he came into my life and changed everything he showed me how to love what family should be like, my family had lots of problems as i was growing up and continues now, its hard growing up with seeing you parents constantly argue and see the hate in the body language there eyes they way they talk, im not rushing into anything i want to live my life with my fiance i want to start a life with him and be totally different to the one i grew up in, its amazing the two totally different families environment we grew up in. Thank you Stacey yep i have found The One and my life has turned around completely changed for the better me and the reason I'm waiting till I'm 21 is because that's when i get my account from my grandad which will go on my wedding honeymoon our babies a house that's why I'm waiting. I can't wait to start the rest of my life with My One n Only Can not wait till I'm his Wife The Mother Of His Children. =:-D
