After hours of searching, I chose the company that looked to have the best coverage for the money for my wedding insurance. However, literally within minutes of buying, I had friends on the phone telling me the company is notorious for not paying out on claims for horses (The company very oddly specialises in Equine and Livestock if you get what I mean?!) and that they probably wouldnt pay out for a wedding claim. Has anyone had exerience of a claim with them, or can recommend someone else who doesnt want too much of my hard earned cash.....?

Hi, I deal with insurance companies on a daily basis,(I work in the veterinary field) the insurance company you talk about is known to be rubbish at paying out! I personally would stay clear of the company. But you wouldn't know this unless you had previous contact with them. Saying that they could be completly different when it comes to wedding insurance. Sorry if that's not what youwanted to hear x

Thanks Caroline. Yeah, my friends have dealt with them from the equine POV and it is apparently well known in that field. Also had a friend who worked for a debt collection company and they had loads of cases against them. She said she'd even known lawyers who couldnt extract cash from them. Thinking I am going to cancel it (which could be fun as I did it in H2B name) as I am within the cooling off period and go somewhere else..... Hopefully nothing will go wrong, but I like to know Im covered if I do - I've used a lot of local, single ranch companies for dress, flowers etc and they are the sort that suddenly go under..... x
