Is anyone setting up/giving their h2b presents/surprises on the day? I was going to get engraved cuff links for him to wear on the day, but am struggling to think of anything else original! My MoH mentioned maybe hiring a HarleyD for him to arrive on (he's motorbike crazy) which I'm going to look into, but has anyone got any other suggestions/ideas??xx

I have got mine a bag and put the following in it: razors, shaving stick, shaving foam, boxers, socks, shower gel, deodorant, mints and chewing gum. I've also written a poem for him and had it printed inside a card. He wouldnt wear cufflinks again so no point in getting them for him.

I would like to get him soemthing like a watch or maybe the gold chain he always wanted but he doesnt really wear anything like that so that will be last minute choice if I do x

I have bought my H2B a pocket watch he hasn't got a clue but keeps looking at them as he thinks it would finish his suit off as him and the BM have Edwardian frock coats. Kepps telling him its a waste of money for just one day lol x

Im staying at my mum's the night before the wedding so will be leaving cider and lager for them to have a drink, cigars (they will think this is amazing), lucky pants and will send round a fry up on the wedding morning. Simple and cheap!

I've contacted the magaement company of OH's favourite musician (OH used to go to all his shows, put up posters and threw together some album cover artwork which was used) and told them about the wedding. Unfortunately the date clashes with an upcoming tour but they will be sending vinyl album signed with our names, the date and a message which I will then get framed and give to OH as his gift.

Wow showgirl! I might have to give that a go myself. I'm getting some 'groom' socks and a miniature drink but I'm a little on what else too.

Ive made mine a box of items - tax disk cufflinks in purple with the date we met on one and the date we get married on the other, cold feet socks, a Don't book for husbands, personalised PJs saying Under New Management and boxers saying Property of Mrs Cross, a novelty bag of items for the groom and I got a Grooms Journal which had lots of questions for my to answer to fill in - he can read that on that night before- ill get his mum to give him it then.
I had already got him a watch as a 5 year anniversary gift so was stuck for ages.
I have a feeling he has got me a wedding Pndra charm as I have seen a bag being hidden away :)

I've hired a stretched limo for him to travel in with his best man, his boys, and brother. He thinks he is going in a merc. I bought him some aftershave he wanted. A watch and I make greeting cards so I'll be making him a large card.

Going to buy him a watch and a train driving experience. He loves trains and I couldn't afford to get it for his 30th birthday. The box of bits and pieces is a good idea though :o) Might think about doing that aswell.

I bought hubby new aftershave for the day, some nice KC boxers that matched our theme, and a card and left Mr and Mrs mugs in the kitchen! We were together the night before (every thinks this is awful!) and so I left his presents downstairs on my way out to my mum's in the morning! I'd bought him a watch for Christmas so that was out! I don't think you need to spend loads, it's the thought that counts! :)
