My fiance and I are getting married abroad in December 2012. As many of our friends will be in the UK we want to have a Blessing ceremony when we get back (sort of a mini wedding) for those that could not make it. As its not really our wedding we want to keep the costs as low as possible and do the catering ourselves.
I am struggling to find a Self-Catering venue in Surrey to have an informal afternoon tea party for this. Does anyone know of venues they can recommend? We would even be willing to give a donation to someone who let us use their house and garden if it was big enough for 50 people.

Not sure whereabouts in Surrey you are looking but 2 places I can think of...
East Court Mansion in East Grinstead and The Red Barn near Lingfield.
