    Hi ladies,

I need your help. I have a friend who is getting married around the same time I am, so we;ve been helping each other plan each others weddings which has been great. This is her second marriage so she's already been through the process of planning a wedding which is helping me out a lot (this is my first time getting married.)

However the other day, she started getting really emotional. After some comfort from me and some time to open up, she was saying how she is experiencing a lot of memories from planning her first wedding which is causing her to get all emotional. I think what was really upsetting her was the fact that she was so happy back then and obviously did not expect to get divorced. She's scared of the same thing happening again.
I feel terrible for her, and I can completely understand that planing your second wedding must bring back memories of your ex etc.

I'm not to sure how to help her, and was wondering if anyone on here could offer some advice on how to deal with this? (she's agreed to let me type up her dilemma on here)
I think some words of encouragement from women wh are planning their second wedding.

    Thank you so much.

Hi Saira, I too am getting married for the 2nd time in roughly 11wks time. I have been with my partner for 7yrs now and my 1st marriage lasted 10yrs but ended in a very messy bitter divorce. I never thought for one minute I'd take the plunge again but here I am planning it all. Every bodies circumstances are different and it all depends on how long ago she was married, how long been with H2B and whether or not they still have contact with each other. I too remember exactly everything about my 1st wedding to the look on my ex's face as I walked down the aisle. I am not scared or worried about this one failing as I believe I've found my soulmate. Our love is totally different than that of my ex, we were young and had 2 children and it felt right but drifted apart after about 5/6yrs as we focused more on our careers.
I do however have to stop myself from saying things like, "Oh we did that, or we had them". Do everything different, DO NOT have anything the same as the 1st time around. What your friend needs to think is what ever made that marriage end this one will be stronger as she will be more mature and wiser to everything. She's obviously in love to be doing it again.

I'm sure she'll have a long happy marriage

I have finally found my soulmate
On 1st Sept 2012 I will become Mrs Curry
