Ok my dress will be ivory and I have blue shoes and a red bouquet
Theas flowergirls will be in ivory with a black sash to match the bridesmaids!
The bridesmaids will have black dresses and cream rose bouquets with red shoes
H2b's buttonhole will match my bouquet and the rest of thens will be cream to match the bridesmaids

    But heres where I'm stuck

    THE MEN!!
They will all have red socks with the grooms ones saying groom and all have ivory waistcoats
But what about hankys and cravets? What should we do with them??

I thought about them all having red cravets n hankys
then we thought maybe the groom and bestman having red ones and the rest have black to match the bridesmaids
Or just the groom to have red and everyone else in black???
AHHHHH HELP I SEEM TO BE GOING IN CIRCLES

I'd suggest the groom in red to set him apart and the rest in black hun.
That flower girl dress is sooooooo cute, I'm thinking about one similar to that I think for our FG as we're having a red and gold colour scheme. I would say the FG should match you.

it looks so much better on photographs when they are all matching and it will look amazing on photos

I would match your H2b to you hun and groomsmen to your bridesmaids. That's what we're doing anyway. my dress is ivory with silver details and I'm having ivory roses and blue hydrangea bouquet. H2B is grey suit, silver waistcoat, silver cravat and pocket square with Ivory rose and blue hydrangea buttonhole. Then my bridesmaid is in blue and having ivory rose bouquet, men are in same suit and waistcoat as H2B but having blue cravat and pocket sqaure with single ivory rose.

Just a point of view here, and a really wacky idea, but why does the bride get to arrange everything? I think you should leave this up to your H2b as no doubt he has left you up to you about which dress you and the bridesmaides will be in. Why are weddings so full of inequality where all decisions are taken away from the man. You shouldnt be matching or making decisions about what he and the grooms wear, that will be their decision in the same way the dress and the bridesmaids were yours. How about that for an idea? Thats how it should be.

Jonathan if you read further up my h2b HAS decided what he want's to wear Ive also had no say in what suit he'll actually have on the day either as long as he picks the right colour I really dont mind what he wears! On the day he could even just wear his boxers as long as he says I do on lol and so he should pick his clothes after all he has to be comfortable as much as I do and like you say its his day too which is why we have planned EVERYTHING TOGETHER!
Yes I do the majorty because he's at work and doesnt really care what things look like at the end of the day as long as I walk down the isle to him at the end of it he's happy!
If you must know this question actually came from HIM not me but as he's not an ACTIVE member on here it was me that posted the question!
He doesnt like to stand out too much but as its his wedding day he wanted to know if he should and HOW to go about doing that! When he asked me it got me to thinking and I couldnt decide either so I came on here and posted the question because I value ukb members opinion's and wanted their thoughts and opinions....................so thank you for yours!

Sorry mabye i put that a bit strongly. I have overdosed quite recently on brides that do not even let their h2b have a say. The best advice i can give any bride and groom is to discuss it together, rather than the bride, or even just the groom make any decisions on their own, which sounds like pretty much what you have done, planned everything together. Well done you, a lot of brides on here could learn a lesson or 50 from that and all credit to you both. Go out for a meal together or even a bottle of wine and a takeaway, sit down, and discuss everything that has yet to be decided, cross it off the list and move quickly onto the next one when you are both happy. Be suprised how quickly and effectively this ties up all the loose ends in one night. And by making an occasion of this you will actually work through everything in one evening and feel all the better for it. :-)

BTW, if you want my color scheme advice, i would say go with your already mentioned idea that the grooms match the bridesmaids with black and the groom wears red accessories.
