We are not having our own but there are lots of sites that can help you if you want to do your own, just type write wedding vows it comes up with loads (mostly americian but very good ) xx

We got given a book by the registrar that had so many different ones in and some really lovely ones so just picked ones from there. Worth looking online for ideas. Think it's nice if you can make it really personal though and mention things unique to you so people know you've written them! x

We won't be, we can't as we're having an RC Church ceremony so it's gotta be what the Church tells us they are, quite standard I think.

My sister had a civil ceremony and I don't think they wrote their own either.

We have to have what the church sets by law. So none of our own in there, but I'm happy with that :)

We are writing our own vows, I have looked to the ever faithful Google for inspirational poems, as well as into my heart :) I have in my handbag a small notebook each 10 or say pages has a wedding subject, for instance Need to buy for table decor, or as I'm making all my own invites, bought stationary, decor etc, and I have a section for Vows: and when something comes to my mind about how or why I love my H2B I write it down, or something he says or does makes me laugh, love him more or angry I do the same, or I hear a song or saying that reminds me of him or something we done, I make a note of it, I am then going to make my vows out of what I have. xx

We are having a humanist ceremony so we shall be having a wee section which is called "personal dedication". I've written mine, its nice but not overly romantic. Its not too cheesy but Ive just said basically that he makes me happy and I want to share as many laughs and have as much fun as possible with him. And that I want us to grow old together. So its not too overly romantic but its nice. H2B has hidden his personal dedication from me. I have no idea what he is going to say but no doubt there will be something jokey in there, he wont be able to resist! I've written him a wee poem as well, attempting to be vaguely humerous. Its slightly cheesy but I like it :-)

We are not doing our own on the actual day but h2b suggested that we both write something similar that we can exchange on our honeymoon when it's just us. We both hate talking in public so something more intimate is more suited to us. xx

We are going to write our own vows, OH idea not mine.
I haven't put any thought into it yet but I did wake up in the middle of the night few months back with something and quickly typed it into my phone so I can remember it for when I do sit down to write them.

we've been given a booklet and hopefully going to an evening session with the registrar so they can go through what to expect and get ideas for vows. After that the next time we see them will be 6 weeks before the day to confirm everything in writing and pay them. They then do a framed scroll/script thing to hand to us on the wedding day with our vows on which I think's nice :) I really don't know what to have though. Would love to write something really fab but I know I'll end up a blubbering mumbling idiot lol x
