    im not sure if i am ment to go shopping with the grooms party for there suits or if i am ment to leave it to them to go and then i have a look once they have seen some and chosen one , im a little confused help xx

    How we did it was.. H2b went looking at suits with me (As he wanted me to like them & made sure it looks right with my dress) Then took the bridal party a few weeks later. I think its personal prefrance really x

    We went te other day, I went along and saw them try them on, I think I was the only one who had any input into what they were having too lol. Not becuase I like to take control, just because H2B and his BM didnt mind what they were wearing to a certain degree so not sure they would of actually made a decision. Guess there is no rule behind what you have to do, just do what you and your H2B prefer. xx

    We both just went suit shopping together as there is only him. Everyone else can wear whatever suit they like.

    I would either go shopping with him to choose together or tell him he has a choice of a b or c and here is a swatch of the wedding colours and he can go with his men. I wouldn't give most men free reign completely.

    My husband chose online - then we went to the shop to order the suit, as he was hiring. A couple of days later I took everyone else (bm, usher and my dad) back to the shop to buy their suits as they had matching (but different to husband's).

    My h2b went shopping a few times with his best man & once he had found what he wanted he arranged for all the
    men to get measured. I dont know what there wearing as he said because he doesnt know what im wearing why should I know what he is!!

    I'm going to "advise" them what to wear as I want tails, waistcosts and cravats and I know what colours I want them in - then I'll trust H2B to ensure they get the right suits when they go without me. I will also brief my dad as he will need to go with them as well as my Future FIL. I'll have to trust them.

    me a h2b went together on friday and tried out suits (well actually he just tried one and we got it!!) then we set up the names of the wedding party and then they will go in when it suits them and get fitted. I think it depends on if you are happy to give him the responsablity, but remember he has no idea what you will be wearing and you want to be sure it all works together.

    I'm trying my best not to control everything lol ................fear I will turn into bridezilla and I have to trust him. I will give him and my dad and his dad a clear brief and cross my fingers.

    My BIL did his without my sister and it was all perfect so I have to trust H2B.

    I picked up a brochure and me and H2B looked at it together. We decided on the colour, I expressed my preference for matching waistcoats but then left it to him. He took all his GM to get measured and decided on coloured waistcoat with tails and top hat. Not what I would have chosen and not what I thought he would have chsen but there you go. I let him have some nput on this as obviously it's him that will be wearing it, xx.

    thanks girls it is soo hard i dont have to worry about it just yeat but we are getting married in completly different place to were we live so i dont no weather to get suits down here or were my wedding will be which is were my fob lives , but good advise girls .x

    H2b and I went to a few shops and picked up some brouchers then looked at them at home. whilst in once shop they brought some suits out to show us but he didnt try any on as I hadnt chosen my dress or bridesmaids dress or colour scheme. He decided that he would like tailcoats and in a dark blue colour as our colour theme is royal blue. But we will all be going together with the bridal party when the time comes.x

    H2b and i have talked about suits and we both want tails and i told him i like dark grey. We've put a deposit down at a formal hire which means we can go whenever we want and choose the suits, but when they do go, it'll just be all the men who are having suits. I don't think there's any point me being there to be honest, as it's h2b's decision and i trust him to choose something nice, and also i think it'll be fun for the men to go x

    Ha ha, yeah, I'm not too sure about the top hats either. H2B looks hideous in hats! I don't actually like tails either but nevermind. At least they might be able to get some creative group shots with the hats??? xx

    I had to go to make sure he got the colours right (him and his twin BM are colour blind) but style of suits they had to go with what they could get to fit my dad as he's a big guy xx

    I went with my OH when he went to choose his outfit and we chose his jacket and tartan together, we've also chosen his BM and our PB's outfits together but he's left me to decide what my dad will wear

    I would suggest getting the suits hired from wherever is easiest to return them to after the wedding, it may be easier for the bestman to return them close to where he lives as it's his job to return all the groomsmen and father's suits after the wedding as the groom will be on honeymoon xx
