Hi all, as some of you know I asked on here about helping you choose my cake. Well the plan was for my parents to pay half of the cake and my nan the other half. Well my nan brought my dress and my parents are paying for most of the wedding. So I didnt think it fair them to get the cake too so said that I would try and get it myself if not its tough and people will go with out and probs wouldnt notice anyway.
Today one of my dads oldestfriends has gone to visit him as he moved away a while ago, and has given my dad the £200 the cake is going to cost he said he's known me from newborn and the least he can do is buy us a cake when he has the money there and its his present to us.
I'm so gobsmacked that someone will do this for us its amazing. However I feel really bad because he lives so far away now I didnt even think about inviting him to the wedding as I didnt think he would come for the day. Now I'm rejiggling numbers etc as I have to have him at my day xx

Aww that's lovely of him hun, it would be lovely if you could manage to include him now seeing as he's been so nice in doing that without even being invited. Restores your faith in people doesnt it, such a nice thing to do x
