Hi ladies,

I think its about time we had a bridesmaids dress thread. We have wedding cakes, wedding dresses, rings...and no bridesmaids :O

I'm still stuck on my bridesmaids dresses. I need 3, floor length, cadburys purple ones....anyone else having this?xxx

Awwww thats gorgeous atraxia. I like chiffron dresses, but my sister doesnt like them for a bridesmaids dress, and I want her to be comfortable and to feel special too.xxx

With Spain being so hot in summer, chiffon was really our only option haha. We're going to dress them up with either wrap or a sash... going to see which looks best when they're here.

My bridesmaids dresses are in my photos......they're in purple and they we're chosen in half an hour......I didn't think it was going to be that easy!!!! xx

I have a photo of mine in one of my albums. They're the "twist dresses" that you can wear in loads of different ways. Getting them in Cadbury purple, not decided on length yet x

mine are cadbury purple too, got them from the bay of e just £26 each, not sure how to put pics directly here but got one in one of my albums x

I just saw a lovely cadburys purple dress and fell in love with it. Though we are thinking of going for a red/merlot colour.

They're both lovely dresses but I think the all purple one is stunning! Love it.
I only have one adult bridesmaid so I don't have to think too much about it, she can pretty much choose her own lol and then we'll find dresses for the little 'uns :)

I love the all purple one Brilly - but that's just my opinion as I'm not a fan of skirt pick-ups.

I'm letting my bms choose their own dresses lol! May have to show them this thread for ideas :)
I'll just be giving them swatches of our colours and as long as their dresses are about knee length and go with the swatches I don't care - then it'll definitely be a dress they like, that suits them & they can wear again :) Will prob get a matching hair accessory for all of them to tie them all together :) Xx

eco thats what i was thinking hun showed them a few and they wanted big puffy 1s (like gypsy bride) i said but u'll only get to where them once where as the maxi style 1 u can wear again and i didnt like the big puffy 1s they chose xx

Joanna I'm not too fussed - somehow I doubt they'll choose matching ones as we all have different tastes/figures - as long as they colour coordinate and they're about the same length I don't mind :)
If you type mismatched bridesmaids into google images there are some very pretty ones and seeing as my main colour is blue it's probably rather hard to get wrong lol!

Yeah the mismatched ones look very pretty. I was just thinking it would be hard to get one dress to suit everyone because of different tastes and shapes etc x
