I have silver diamonte hearts but am wary of going over the top and looking tacky. I had the same thing with my invites and left them off in the end. I just can't decide.x

I bought teal card and hammered cream card from the bay. I bought 1 sheet of cream thin card from W H Smiths. I 'borrowed' a sheet of 5mm backing board from the art dept at school but you can buy this from craft shops. I bought the double sided satin ribbon from a craft shop too. I borrowed a guilotine from school to make the cuts professionally straight (scissors don't really do it right). You can buy cheap guilotines from Staples amongst other places. I also bought double sided sticky tape (5mm wide) to use instead of glue as it was neater.
I made a Word document with the lists of names and put a thin box page border around the page so that I would know where to cut to mount it on the teal. I made each table 1 page big then printed four pages per page to save paper and make them the right size. I stuck them to the teal card which was cut into A6 size rectangles.
Before I printed anything onto my cream card I printed it on cheap white paper to play around with size and position etc.

Any other questions feel free to ask. It really is quite simple and saves you loads of money.xx

A1 card would be best for 12 tables I think. I used size 44 font for the lists but remember I printed four pages per sheet so it will shrink.x

Bumping post for a bit of advice!

I am making my table plan and have based sizes on A1, is this the average size of a planner? We have 9 tables seating 10 people each maximum.

not sure if A1 is right or a bit too big ?
