Oh I mean rolling pin not wooden spoon lol oops!

I have no idea what it means though, I expect it's some made up tradition and it's just taking the mick out of the bride, telling her where her place is. In the kitchen!

Interesting post fruity - might use that in my blog - as with all traditions if they mean nothing to you should you carry them on just for the sake of doing so?

I think it should be up to the individual as some are not superticous and do not hold by good or bad luck. So personally I think if you don't believe then it's your choice. After all it's your day. :)

Please note I've had an email from a company this morning complaining that a post in this thread was lifted from her website. Can I remind you not to post copyrighted material please! Thanks! Rob

It's not Anna... it's Rob...! I've deleted it, it's OK but the lady emailed in and was quite irate, they've had an SEO audit done and were penalised for the duplication of text on their website to that shown on ours. Because we have the higher ranking it impacts her more than it does us.

Hmm the last post on here was from 2011 lol. Was done awhile ago then unless the one deleted was the last one and was more recent?
