as some of you will know just over a week ago i made my first purchase from the ukbride supermarket,i bought a diamante and pearl necklace and earring set from the glass slipper,well since i paid iv heard nothing,so sent them an email to ask how long delivery takes.and they v just replied saying they are having a problem with there supplier and if you purchase thru ukbride they have no way of contacting you and that i should cancel my order thru ukbride myself.for a start i paid thru paypal which i know has my email address and phone number details on and surely once iv paid only the seller can cancel and refund my transaction.if they are so many problems why are the company selling thru the ukbride site.so annoyed now.x

they just said theres a problem with the supplier of the jewellery but there still up on the sitr here,so surely they should put a note on,iv been waiting 10 days x

if you paid through paypal they will have your payment so will have to give you a refund back. i would contact them and say you wish to cancel your order and want your refund in your bank within 48 hours!

surely if they know they are having problems they shouldnt be selling the items still?!? i would ask them why they dont have this item in stock all the time or do they need to buy from the supplier everytime an order is placed.

that has put me off buying anything through here now! xx

thats whats made me so mad,all there items are still up u d either put a note saying they are having problems or take them off,and the fact that if u buy thru this site they cant contact u to let u know of any problems seems very strange,i was about to order more stuff aswell,glad i didnt now.x

emailed J,and the company is new 2 ukbride and wasnt sure how to amend there listings to notify people of the problem,they are ment to be getting in touch with me to tell me when the item will be delivered.thanks to J and cathy it should get sorted but has put me off.the company could of contacted ukbride themselves and asked how to amend the listing and like i said my contact details where on my paypal payment.we ll see if i get the item.x

I agree I would contact Mr Boss Man and tell him of the flaws as they can then correct it for new users.

We will sort it no worries, I've passed the buck (err forwarded your email) to Cathy, she's great, she'll sort it. FYI when you buy an item in the Supermarket the bride gets the suppliers contact details and the supplier gets the brides contact details. So they can resolve any issues. But we are always here if you need us!

If you dont get much a responce form the sellers maby you should see what paypal can do for you. There should be no reason why they cant get in touch with you.

no mrsbroady thats what i found strange,when u pay thru paypal the seller gets ur address and email address and if uv allowed it ur phone number and as J just said the seller gets the buyers details and vice versa,ill give them a chance and see if they put it right,just hope the jewellery is worth all this hastle.thankfully tho cathy said ukbride is simular to paypal in the way it protects ur money[they hold any money you pay for goods in the supermarket for a time in case of problems] so dont be put off as im sure there are some great sellers on here.xx

just got in touch with the seller she said it would take 6 week for my set to arrive but offered me a simular set which was really nice,so should be here soon.fingers crossed i like it now.lol.tho just relieved its finally sorted.x
