I think I remember reading somewhere once rolling clothes instead of folding them helped keep the creases out. Not sure if this is an option for you

Actually Boo now you've said that I remember hearing it somewhere too. but if worst comes to worst you can take it to get steamed to get the creases out x

Get her to hang it up in a steamy room after she recieves it- will encourage any creases to fall out.

Make sure that the insurance on the parcel is enough to cover the dress just in case it does get lost.

I was told with my BM dress to lay it out flat, but some plastic sheeting over it (like the stuff you use when you decorate) and then roll in the sides and then fold it into about 4 (esp if you've got boning in the top) and then just packed it into a shoe box which h2b took as hand luggage...worked really well :-) a few hot steam showers later and the dress was perfect :-) x

Yeah they should tell you what the insurance covers on it and you can always add some more on if need be so find out how much it would cost you to replace it just in case. You never know when something will go missing in the royal mail system that is never to be seen again.

Even if she isn't in they will take it back to the depo and she has up to two weeks to pick it up.
