Hi all i recently went to a local wedding exhibition and took one of my niece's with me. Both of them are going to be flower girls along with my daughter. On the day their ages are 9, 5 and my daughter will be 1 and a half. My dilema is that i was going to have my nieces both dressed the same and a different dress for my daughter but when we went to the exhibition i got the impression that the older niece wanted something different to her sister. I dont know what to do now. Another problem is that she kept looking at dresses that was from bridesmaids. Shes still a little girl but i get the impression she wants to wear something grown up for an adult????
My bridesmaid (2 of my sisters) arent wearing the same as they are built differently and have completly different tastes in clothes so i want them to feel comfortable but i get to choose the style (long and floaty) and the colour (yellow).

    What does everyone think

I have 5 altogether and 3 different dresses. They will be 16, 15, 13, 10 and 4 when we get married.
Two will be in black, two in burgandy and the little one will be in ivory!
I think as long as your happy have them in what you want babe its your choice.

I've seen a few weddings where the older bridesmaids have all had the same colour but different styles and it looks fab. Either that or as Hails says have some in one of your colours and some in the other. There is no hard and set rule to it so have what you think will look best. I would rather see different dresses that look good on each of them than have ill fitting or styles that don't suit the bridesmaid.
