We were thinking of having a comedian hired for a half hour slot at our evening reception? what do people think to this,do u think people would sit and listen,or that it'd be a waste of money?x

It's different. To me it would depend on the type of humour and the delivery etc. Ask your family and see what they think xxx

well the guy we have in mind is up and coming and did a gig at my h2b's sunday league football super champ dinner where they had neil 'razor' ruddock as a guest after dinner speaker, and apparently he was really funny,i didnt go myself though!think he cost about £200 for an hour, but we wasnt thinking for that long.its just with some evening receptions i've been to, have been a bit draining on excitement lol x

We're just having a dj, we would've loved one of those photobooths but they're too expensive for us :)

Like the photobooths where you take your passport photos, but they come with dress up boxes so people can take funny photos for you to remember your wedding :)

We wanted a comedian but couldn't find one in our price range to do it as lots said that weddings are not the right place for their gig and that they would prefer to do a show suited for comedy as that is what gets them paid so we have given up on the idea and thinking close up magician now we were also told that it is hard for a comedian as in the middle of a reception they feel they are interrupting hope you get yours booked as its a fab idea xx
