Me and the MIL were trying to come up with some ideas for a couple of fun things to do as an icebreaker for the two families...any ideas anyone? I'm stumped!! Can't do the lanterns as venue wont allow it and all we thought of was a game of limbo and a bit of ooops upside your head on the dance floor lol

They have trivia games in fenwicks and some cheap ones in tesco. What are the grounds like at your venue? we was thinking about setting up a football match for the boys and men. H2B loves football and i am sure it will stop the kids being bored xx xx

The venue is providing giant Jenga on the lawn, so we've got that, we do have a pretty big lawn so footy sounds wicked too.
H2B plays for a team and he's got all his old team from Wycombe coming so there's masses of footy fans there...oh NO lol.

Haha bride and groom trivia that sounds awesome!!!

I would love to have games on the lawn but unfortunately we are having our reception at a golf club and the nearest grass is the putting green... dont think they would be very impressed if we started playing footy on it!

We want to get the lawn games, they would def keep kids entertained!! How about hiring a caricaturist, that will give all the guests something to talk and laugh about!

I love them, they're great but we haven't got enough in our budget left. I was thinking about those masks for people to play with where you have the half a face from the nose up, they make people look so funny!!! We were going to have a bouncy castle but the venue said it has to be manned at all times
