H2b just got a text off best man saying because of the arguments between me and him his mums no longer coming to the wedding and doesnt want to do our flowers. Ive now stopped crying and need to find flowers ASAP! The reception venues are sorted but we need 1 bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaids, 1 flowergirl , 6 button holes and 1 little man button hole. The flowers at the reception are gerberas but im happy for white and red flowers. Id prefer my bouquet to be red and the BM's to be white and ross's buttonhole to be white and the ushers red. Please help im having an absolute freak out and im so angry. i want that stupid cu*t out of the wedding, i hate him and want to stomp on his fat dirty smug face.

If you dont want anything elaborate Jay, what about just costing up some bunches of flowers in your local Tescos or Asda, then once you see how much that will be, I can easily come up with ideas to how to make them into bouquets, I have ribbon here, both ivory/cream and claret red that you can have for tieing round the bouquets. Will help as much as I can by emailing you, I can always make up a buttonhole and trial bouquet to show you what I can do (it wont be fancy but it would be ok!) and we will be down the night before your wedding in West Lothian area, so could easily help make them up and you would then only need to stick them in the fridge to keep them fresh.

One thing please do for me though, is try and get some rest tonight, try and put this behind you as its all done now and it was what you had expected considering she is the best mans mum, so from tomorrow, the beginning of a new day on flower arranging ok lass. xx

Hi Jay. I know this is a nightmare for you but Spooney is right - it can be fixed and it looks like she is going to help you in a mega way! My friend who is doing my flowers has previously made bouquets out of bunches of flowers bought in tesco and said that it is really effective - so it can be done! Once they are wrapped in ribbon - who will know? Sending hugs. Everything will be ok - you have everything sorted and you have 2 weeks to sort the flowers. xxx

Just a wee note to say I have now ordered some diamonte pins for the flowers Jay so that I can try an experiment this week and be able to then display some pics for you by the end of this week if you are keen for me to help out. If they come out real bad you can always go for silk flowers instead lol! xx

shops like wilko, poundland etc, al do individual flowers for about £1 each you could cut down the stems, and wrap nice ribbon round them like they are handtied, there are lots of shops that do them, i bought a couple just to put in a vase in my spare room and they look quite real. my flowers came on friday, they are lovely, but they were £142 for the brides, 4 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls wands, 3 double button and 4 single button, the colours are red and ivory, they look lovely, but not sure how long they would take to make x

What about making them yourself or with some help from mum and bridesmaids? were getting some proffessional flowers from a florists (for church/venue) but me and my auntie are going to make the bouqets, shes quite creative, she was suggesting to me to buy some freash cream roses from tescos/asda etc get some pretty ribbon from somewhere like the range which could match your colour scheme, then you could make a red flower from crepe paper and put in the center of the bouqets, looks quite effective and is much much cheaper x good luck hun x

the boquets i had for my BM;s were simple and could do them myself. I have 3 gerbra's and 3 roses, all cut to differnt heights and then just wrapped some ribon round them and pinned it... so simple so so nice, as for button holes, buy a bunch of roses, the day before, let them open up cut ti size and pin on to clothes... xxxx

Spooney is a star. We're handmaking our bridesmaids bouquets, my mum has seen some flowers in Waitrose and is going to get them the night before, then tying them with yellow ribbon.

As nic said, I really hope this person is not still your best man, as it's so out of order what you've had to go through these past few days and weeks.
