My H2B is a real joker and said that when the registrar says to him 'You may now kiss the bride' he is going to pretend he mis-heard her and Kick me instead! He wont of course, but now he has put that thought in my head, when it gets to that bit I am going to think of it and probably flinch! he also told his girls, and so they said when it gets to that bit they will probably hold their breath or laugh out loud.....
He is crazy-ness personified and I love him for it, but I wont be able to keep a straight face all the way through the ceremony, knowing whats coming......

Oh, I'm the same. I've told Liz we're writing our own vows, to be as follows: "I now pronounce you man and wife; You may now update your Facebook status"... And the registrar hands us our mobile phones.....

I'm also worried what h2b is gonna do on the day cos he's such a joker. When we went to give notice he wound the registrar up so much asking questions like can we get married in the nude or is it ok if we turn up drunk and kept pretending he had no clue of my DOB . But she was taking him seriously and eventually said I hope I dont get you two. If she sees our wedding is due she'll probably go on the sick lol x

clive you so funny youve had me in stitches, My h2b said to me does he need to get a giant toilet roll to put up at the alter, I asked him why and he said incase I look like I belong on top of one and if my irritable plays up with my nerves I wont need to worry about not getting to the toilet in time lol.

I've been to two weddings recently where we DID kick the bride, and the groom :-)
Is it some sort of a tradition for some? We had them on the dancefloor, and we all made a circle around them as we all danced, and people (jokingly of course) took kicks at them. It was very funny, had everyone including them in stitches, but I was really surprised, having never seen it before.
