Who is going to be your witness? My sil is a bridesmaid as is a good friend of mine Im not having a maid of honour altho id probs say sil is more of the "higher" rank mainly cos i asked her 1st originaly she was my only bm.. My brother is a groomsman and my h2bs best friend is best man he also wanted another good friend to be groomsman.
are you having people involved in the wedding as your witness? he has a brother who isnt part of the wedding party but i cnt say they are close either and i think hes a bit stuck on if he shud ask him or not.
Im nt sure wether to ask my brother, sil or my other bm to be witness lol im leanin towards my brother or my sil bt stuck

We are having my sister who is BM and the best man. My friend is my MOH but I'd like to give my sister a bit more of a role so I chose her :) I think people usually have those involved in the wedding party as they are people that are closer to them and also they sit at the front of the church anyway x

We are allowed 4 witnesses in all, 2 for me, 2 for him. I'm having my mum, and mob ( my cousin) and oh is going to have his mum and dad.
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!
We are having 3, both mums and my pregnant friend as she is no longer BM :)

we had best man and my auntie on my mums side as we are a really small family on that side, my mum was obviously my mum (lol) my brother gave me away my daughter flower girl and as i never see my aunty with her living in durham, i really wanted her to be my witness :)

My brother was my witness as well as walking me down the aisle (father passed away 7 years ago sadly) and my husband's brother was his best man and witness. It's really up to you whoever you have though. I couldn't have my sister in laws as they're both under age although I did have them as bridesmaids instead.

I was told you can have up to 4 witnesses, and you can have someone under 18 but over 16 as long at already one is over 18 so they can stand in court as witness if needed.
