Hi all,
I'm having one of those days when I'm trying to get organised and suddenly have loads of questions so looking to you lovely lot for help

Favours! Now I know they are normally on the table for the wedding breakfast part so of course for day guests but do we get extra favours for night guests? We are getting mini heart shaped Welsh cakes and maybe mini chocolate love spoons and want to make sure we order right amount :)

My mind has gone blank as can't remember the last time I was a night guest only.

We are thinking of doing little jars of jam but will probably only do day guests. Its an added expense. Plus sometimes people don't show up to evening dos and you could end up with a lot of extras left over. Although if it was welsh cakes that sounds like breakfast the next day would be sorted!! X

I'm only doing day guests, the only time i got a favour at night time was for my SILs but that was because she got favours and didnt like them for day guests and she gave them out at night time as she had already paid for them so put them to use.

Our centre pieces were the favours, they were full of sweets.

What annoys me though is that people expect to have a wedding favour at a wedding. Why should they?? They are already getting a free meal and possibly some drinks, I wouldn't expect to have a gift for attending a friend's wedding.

Very good point! Although of course its something we've done anyway!!

We have them with place names for the wedding breakfast - so day guests only. We are having a candy cart in the evening though and our favours are a variety of sweets/chocolate so I guess its pretty much the same thing lol.

I'm planning to have them for day guests only. We are having pinecones fire starters :)

Still don't know how to give them to the guests, but we'll figure it out lol

We only did favours for day guests, to put at their places. Evening guests probably wouldn't expect anything.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.

We are only doing them for day guests and only because we plan to double them up as place name settings (haven't decided what yet) otherwise we weren't going to bother as most of the time they just get left behind at the end of the night.
