Hi all just needed your help to work out which order the Wedding party comes down the aisle ie flower girls, pageboy, bridesmaid and father and bride can't seam to work it out in my head..... I know that some of you will be able to put me right thank you x

there is different ways to do it, some people send the flowergirl and page boy first, then bride and father (or who is giving them away), then bridemaids. some people send every down before the bride, some people send everyone down after the bride! not sure what the 'tradtional' one is tho...sorry thats probably not much help lol xx

Do whatever way you want babe. It really doesnt matter these days.
Im having my flower girl with a bm, then paige boy with another bm with the other 4 bm's coming in before i make my grand entrance :-)

I think in theory its meant to go Flowergirl and page boy - to scatter petals before you walk in Bride and father Bridesmaids - to hold your train until you get into church then to take your flowers at the alter
Uk tradition= bride first followed by bm's American= bm's followed by the bride
Im having flowergirl and page boy walking in first followed by moh then 2 bms then myself!!!!
The choice is usually the bride's however check with priest/minister/register first hun! xx

Im going to have my two BMs go in first (my daughters) then me and my son, just hoping I wont cry, will be very emotional! My son is such a sweetie, 15 and taller than me and looks after me!

Its me and my dad for the big entrance, followed by the BMs.
Its also important to think about where people have to be during the ceremony. If they are have to stand behind you and go first, you have to get past them. If they have to be to one side and go last, you have to get past them etc. Also think about corners- my church has a corner to turn in the aisle, so they have to be behind to straighten the train.
Now a extremely happy German housewife and now a Mother!!!!
