We have booked our venue and paid the £900 deposit and I have booked and paid the registrar deposit. I want to take out wedding insurance, but don't know where to start looking! Has anyone here dealt with/taken out wedding insurance? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated :)

Yes hun but you have to be careful now as a lot of insurance companies dont cover things that deposits have already been payed on. Mine does but you will need to make your wall public and add me as a friend so that I can put the link on your wall xxx

I used Deben hams they were resonable but we hadn't paid any deposits when i took the insurance out

DO it now.... alot of insurance companies wont cover anything that has been booked and paid for already so your deposits may not be covered.... shop around and read the small print as they tend to vary. I cant remember who we have gone with but i just googled them xxx

To be honest, I hadn't even thought of insurance, it was our venue that advised us to look into it! Xx
