I've found and read some lovely gorgeous poems and would really love for them to be at the wedding - however I'm wondering.... where on earth do I put them/say them? Would it be with the speeches? Or the ceremony itself? Theres a beautiful one I want to say to my parents but unsure when to say it? Or shall I give them both a card with the poem in it on the morning of the wedding? Were getting married at 2:00, then breakfast at 4 then evening reception at 7:30?
ideas are muchly appreciated :D xx

If you want somebody to do the readings for you I would say the ceremony. For the parents one I think that would be lovely in a card before the wedding, or if you're brave enough, do it is part of a bride's speech! X

I would like to make a speech/read some poems to say my own little thank you - I think I would do this after all the other speeches at the wedding breakfast :) but it is entirely up to you. There is no right or wrong!! x
The one to your parents would work beautifully in the speeches, but otherwise readings and poems can work well before you make your vows, as an introduction to what you're about to do. They can also go afterwards, either before you go to sign the register or right at the end, to act as a reminder of the life that you are now setting out on.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
