Hi, how long before your wedding did all you lovely brides to be book your photographer? I'm not getting married until 2018 so was wondering when would be a good time to start looking for one? I'm probably being extra keen here but just want the most important things booked first so I know I've got them :) Thank you in advance xx

Hi joanne, I have a date with viar tomorrow to start discussing when we can get married, looking at july august next year and when thats booked in then i will be looking for and booking my photographer.

We book our venue in October 2014 for our wedding in July 2016.... We booked the photographer December 2014 so a good 18 months in advance..... You will be surprised but 2018 will be getting booked up already so the sooner the better I'd say xx

We booked our photographer in April 2016 and we're getting married October 2017. Like you, we wanted to have all the big things booked and out of the way, so no harm in taking a look now!

The best suppliers get booked up way in advance, especially on peak dates so book ASAP if you're having a weekend wedding in peak season.

We booked ours in January 2016 for July 2017. We found a few of our options booked up even as we were in contact with them! But found our perfect option in the end. Would definitely recommend looking sooner and if someone catches your eye contact them right away x
