Our wedding isn't until 2015, but considering taking out Insurance with all the recession and money issues etc... Who is best to go for and what level of cover?
We don't particulary have a budget to follow. x

the best thing to do will be to add up a rough idea of how much you think everything you are going to need will cost, and then buy the appropriate level of cover. Then as your planning continues and you get proper quotes and start to buy etc you can keep an eye on how much you're actually spending compared to your cover limit, and if it exceeds it you can contact your insurer and pay more for a bit more cover. (i assume most insurers allow you to extend your cover amount for an additional premium? the ones we're looking at do) If you un-restrict your wall i'll pop a link on which helps you calculate what band you might need xxx

Most wedding insurances cover you for 2 years only and only cover up to £1000 worth of deposits made before the insurance is taken out..
I'll post a link on your wall of where I looked to compare wedding insurances.. It's a reliable site by someone who is on breakfast TV and recently had his own show too.. I think so many wedding insurance sites look so dodgy that I had to find a reliable site to source them from !
As it is only a one off payment, we're going for the level above what we think we'll need.. Its a one off payment of £58 and thats us covered for 2 years ! Getting it in July so we're sorted til a week after the wedding :-)
