I dont know when we are ment to hear from the chuch rev, to talk about hymns and readings etc. i know they forgot to get hold of sil and bil2b and it wasnt until i got hold of the rev they were like how did you get that number can we have it, i think there was only about a month and a half to go. Should i be contacting them? i have 2.5 months to go. When did you all discuss this with your reverand? (again sp?)

Id give the church a call just to see cos you dont want to leave it to the last minute and then thats one job doen and off the list

we called ours last week to see, and he told us that since OH has been married before to get an app. 6 weeks before the date. If we havent been married before then to get one 4 weeks before.

i know we were told we'd be contacted 3-4 months before to give us an accurate price for everything and what we wanted as in choir, bells etc. which we havent which im not too bothered about atm as its more time for mil2b to save up for it. I will have to givethem a bell and see what and when things are done

I spoke to my church corodatior 2 weeks ago and he done everything and he is getting the minister to phone us but i hope it is soon as i have never meet him but i would give him a wee phone xx

we started at the first meeting at the church with ours in feb he gave us some ideas and said we will talk more at the next meeting which was a month later at ours where we or should i say i told him what hymns we wanted and what readings who are bridesmaids and ushers are, who the best man and chief bridesmaid is an who our witnesses are as the best man is h2b's my sis is mine but she's not my chief bridesmaid as she''l have 2 kids to sort out with out adding me to the mix lol then at the 3rd we talked about order of service and the next one which is a week on sat i'm goin to ask him if we can have either the 1662 or the 1966 service as i really dont like the modern one and we're not getting married till aug 2012

the only thing we havent sorted is who is marrying us as the curate who is there now is leaving this summer and so far he hasnt got a replacement, he's told us not to worry if needs be the rural dean has said she will do it if she cant i will get daddy to sweet talk his vicar who is also a rural dean lol

I've just heard from mine and we get married in Sept. We are meeting him in the pub next month for an informal chat then about 2 months before going through all the final details.

we have a meeting (2nd one) with our minister next tues to discuss music, hymns and reading etc, not picked any yet thou lol :) x
