H2b and I have decided to be traditional and not spend the night before the wedding together so I'm booking into a nice hotel with a suite big enough for all the bridesmaids and photographers as it will also be easier for us all. I was just wondering at what time the day before h2b and I have to part? Ideally I would like him to be able to go with me to the venue in the morning to drop everything off then drop me off at the hotel in the afternoon once I have had my nails done etc so I can leave my car at home. At what point do you say the cut off time is?

A lot of people have a rehersal dinner before, so I'd say, whenever you want it to be.... the tradition is that they don't see you when they wake up on the morning of the wedding x

I think the "traditional" way is to part way's at Sun set and not see each other again till the wedding, which will be after sun rise

Hmmm first of all don't drink too much as you don't want to be tired or hung over on your wedding day. Maybe leave about 10.30 so you are both in bed nice and early etc?

Think I was dropped off about 5.30-6ish at my overnight hotel after the church rehearsal/decorating.

h2b, our daughter and i are all having a late lunch, early tea at about 5ish and that will be our farewell dinner, i dont like being away from him so i think after tea, by the time ive had a long bath, watched a crappy film with my bridesmaids it will be bedtime so hopefully not that bad. x

We will be driving to the hotel together so we will see each other in the morning but we will be spending the night is seperate rooms. I am booking the bridal suit for me to sleep in and for me and the bridesmaids (if they want) to get ready in on the wedding day.

my other half is driving me down to my dads, then returning home the night before the wedding, so will leave about 10ish i think . I would agree with most that 12 midninght would be a cut off point. Then he hasn't saw you at all the day of the wedding. But obviously many will not be together till midnight- so relax enjoy yourself the day before , go out for a meal have him drop you off wherever it may be that your staying with a goodnight kiss, and then relax till the morning.
Thats what ill be trying to do, no doubt will wake up with 1001 stress spots braking out the next day lol
