    Hi

We are getting married June '18 and I am after some advise as to when to send out our save the dates, day invites and night time invites? Also what is every one doing about the obligatory invites for extended family that have to be invited to make parents happy (they helping pay for the wedding) even though I don't want these particular extended family members to attend?

I'm getting married in May 18 and we are just looking at save the dates and going to send next month as ours in May bank, holiday so want to get in early.

My dad too is paying a chunk of money and I have dads brothers new wife's kids who I didn't really want so as a compromise I'm inviting just to evening reception, however they love a couple of hours away and have young kids so very much doubt they will come, however keeping people happy with the invite Lol

With re the invites, were King of thinking Nov 2017a 6 month prior to wedding

Hi, we are March 18 and sent our save the dates last month. The plan is to send our invitations next summer, probably August time.
My parents are paying for the venue but luckily when drawing up the guest list they were happy and only asked for one friend to be invited which we were happy with.

Hi, Im getting married May 17 and send invites out with a years notice, going to send our day invites about 4 months before the wedding and then night invites 3 months before the wedding (so if we get people who are unable to attend the day then we can change a couple of the evening ones to day) xx

I wondered the same, I'm getting married 5th April 2018. May send the save the date early next year, was thinking about sending them to evening guests too but saying evening invite to follow only because my side of the family have young children where h2b side don't really have children. xxx

We haven't sent any STD's, and I'm not too sure we will bother (something I may live to regret)
Those that we want there have already been told the date verbally

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan
