The colour scheme for our wedding is teal and grey (H2B wanted british rail blue and teal was the closest we could get). I'm trying to find a bridesmaid dress for my half sister in teal, but it's proving very difficult a) to find the colour and b) to find something that isn't too grown up (she'll be 13 when we get married). She's quite tall and half kenyan, so we need something that goes with teal and her skin tone.
Do we need to have her wearing teal and what sort of colours go? Was thinking of a mint or jade green colour

Is she your only bridesmaid? And do you have any other sisters in your wedding party?

Yes she's my only bridesmaid. I have 3 sisters but can't afford for them all to be BMs so one will be a witness and the other two are ushers. My Niece will be flower girl, but thinking of putting her in white

If a teal dress is proving hard to find then perhaps a grey one with a teal sash? Sadly 13 is a very difficult age to buy a dress for as most things are either too grown up or too childish. Take a look at some junior prom dresses for style inspiration (since those are meant for teenagers). There are several websites (in the UK) that have similar styles of dresses and can make them in any colour you like if you're not able to find anything in the shops. If she's half-Kenyan then I imagine the teal is going to look stunning against her complexion, rather than grey. If you want to go with another colour then I think most colours will go well, depends what kind of a look you want to go for (summer brights - pink, purple, yellow etc, refined - throw in a metallic gold or silver etc)
