We've been talking about transport but I'm confused :/
I know I need transport to the church for me and my dad then that transport will take me and my new hubby to the reception. Then I need something to take my mum and brides to the church then reception and something for my h2b and his best man to the church. Then would my dad go with the best man to the reception? Or would my dad n the best man go with someone from the wedding to the reception? I'm so confused. Plus I wanted a horse n cart but am 20 mins from church then another 25 mins to reception so not sure if a horse n cart would be able to do it. So confused. Please help lol x

We are having a car for me and dad that will take us to the church then take my and OH to reception. Then we are having a family friends car to take the groom and his groomsmen to the church. My mum is taking the bridesmaids to the church in her car. All groomsmen and bridal party's partners are invited so we've said they will either have to drive themselves or get a taxi from church to reception as we can't afford to provide transport for everyone. We thought about getting a double decker for all guests but it's so expensive x

We've got a car taking me and dad to church, and then me and h2b to reception.
For everyone else we hired a vintage London bus, it worked out cheaper and easier.

It's going from the hotel to the church with h2b and whoever else wants to join him.
Coming back for bridesmaids and then will bring everyone but us back to the hotel venue.

My brother will be driving me, my dad and princess to the church. Best man will be taking the groom and then from the church my brother will take me and New husband to wedding breakfast, my dad will go with his wife and a family member will take the kids for us as we will be stopping for photos on the way. Family always help out when you need so don't put extra pressure on yourself to provide transport for everyone especially if its not in budget

    We only hired 2 cars.

Main lead car for my dad and I to be taken to the church and then take me and my hubby to the reception venue.

Second car was a m3rc3d35 limo (not a stretch limo but seats 7 passengers - which took my mum, grandmother and 2 adult bridesmaids to the church and then to the reception venue with my dad joining them.

Hubby went to the church with his best man and ushers who drove as they had wives/girlfriends to take there also.

I must admit, this is something I was wondering.... My sister and I will drive our own cars to the venue as we get married there too. I will have my car for the morning after then. I'm getting ready at the venue but I did wonder about who drives H2B and the bestman. How do all the groomsmen get there or do they just meet us there??
I want to get to the venue for 8am to get started but how do the little bridesmaid get there?? I'm so confused lol

Emmilou can you ask your mum or dad to pick up the flower girls? The grooms men often sort themselves out

We haven't really looked at transport yet but I'm thinking of hiring a mini bus for bms and my mum with extra seats so it can take my dad, ushers etc after the service too. X

Sorry second thoughts because you said about a horse and carriage. If it takes 20-25 mins for each journey (I assume by car), think how long it will take in a horse and carriage? X

That's my worry about the horse n carriage so I need to speak to someone who does it and see what they're recommend as thinking maybe drive to about 5 mins from church then get horse n carriage for 5mins then get it to the reception after. But will speak to them about what they recommend. Do you think transport for me n dad to church then same one for me n h2b to reception and one for h2b n best man to church and one for bridesmaids to church then out of those two just the later vehicle to take them all to the reception? Would that sound about right x
