Went shopping today and sorted the bridesmaids flower girl and page boy!

Pandora teapot (my wedding has a vintage afternoon tea theme) charms for the adult bridesmaids. A Pandora daisy ring for my teenage bridesmaid. Build a Bear teddies with wedding attire for flower girl and page boy. We are thinking of cuff links and hip flasks for Best man and Ushers. Mothers will be wearing selections of my jewellery on the day and Cuff links for the fathers also.

We are organising weekends away for parents as an extra. Now we've just got to think when the best time would be to give the gifts out!!

Awww love the build a bear teddies for the little one's

We thought about them for my son and my God-daughter, but my son will be 7 so not too sure if he'll be too old for that? I suppose wait and see if he's still into teddies closer to the time and my nephews and niece might also be there and don't want to leave them out.... but there's loads of them.

I can only go by the one wedding I've been to that I can remember that much of (the other one I was a child not too drunk lol) they gave gifts out during the speeches, after dinner was finished.

Aww lovely touches in your gifts. I thought about giving out the than you gifts during the speeches but my BIL has said that he would give them out the morning of the wedding. Persoanlly I think its nice to give them at the sppeches so everyone can see who they are too.

Yeah, I think it's awkward, as some things are nice to give in the morning, but then it's nice to give them during speeches as well. We're hoping to spoil people a little and get a little something for the morning (jewellery for the bridesmaids, cufflinks for the men, not sure for the mothers but some jewellery) and then a present for the speeches as well...

We're giving ours out at the speeches, h2b was dreading his speech and as he does all the thank yous,I said it'll lengthen his by saying individual thank yous as he gives out the gifts x

I think it sounds more personal as well rather than saying thank you generally then moving on, it actually shows that you spent the time to show you are appreciative of the role they've played and showing them off to all the guests too of their importance x
