Hi, I'm a newbie!

Newly engaged on the 14th April this year after being with my partner, Matt, for 5 years.

We're both very excited and have already provisionally booked a venue! We're aiming to get married July 2016 in our hometown in South Wales. With both of us living in London and busy careers we're trying to do as much as possible during short visits home.

Will appreciate any advice and tips you guys have for us :) Looking forward to sharing each others excitement!

We decided to get married next July and were both very excited and I had a lot of stuff sorted within the first 2 weeks but now I'm stuck on a buffet... Were getting married at the local church and then just back to the local club for our reception but I'm not sure what kind of prices I should be paying etc and its all very frustrating haha

Hello all,

Just signed up to UKBride after seeing a link on Facebook. My partner proposed, after 5 years together, on 17th April this year the day before he had to fly back to his barracks in Germany. I'm not particularly good with keeping a track of things so hopefully this site will be a big help :) looking to get married some time early to mid 2017 with a venue being booked by the end of this year....hopefully!
