    okay so i need your help everyone!!! I've taken it upon myself to organise the rest of the wedding (which is about 3/4's of it) as my MIL is seriously ill (with lung cancer and emphasema) and my OH needs to concentrate on helping his dad look after her. we've already got some stuff done but i know there are things left to do but i want to see what it is i've forgotten

    rings: paid for and at home somewhere safe
    music chosen
    venue: deposit paid menu not yet chosen
    linen: 1 quote received and that's it!!!!
    invites: sent but only had less than 10 responses. reply by date is end of June
    brides dress: paid for and arrives in august.
    hen do: organised but my share not paid for. no fancy dress either
    flowers: not paid for but we know what site we're getting them from
    centre pieces: martini glasses bought but no idea what's going in the middle of them
    stationary: neil's neice is doing them for us
    photographer: organised. and she's even doing a lock in in June for me with me and my maids some wine, make up and a camera!
    maids: dresses bought but they're doing their own make up and hair (i think.)
    bride:makeup organised, shoes bought, NO underwear as of yet, veil and tiara bought, accomodation night before wedding organised and paid for. none sorted for Stag (but he may stay with best man)
    stag do: not organised or booked or paid but am in the process of speaking to the best man to help
    DJ: not even thought about that yet!!!
    flower girls: dresses are paid for but we;re waiting for one in a bigger size. if it doesn't come in at the end of june then we have to get NEW ones. and there's a big age diff between the older two and the younger two!!


    Aaaarg!!! what have i missed!?!?!!! feels like loads! i don't want to mess this up and forget something.

    transport: I'm staying in the hotel where we're getting married. i'm getting a lift in with my dad on the day before. have to sort out transport home
    favours: I'm baking a family recipe called tiffin (not the same as you guys will be used to getting down here) and one of my bridesmaids and a friend of the family are helping with that by lending me their kitchens and fridges!
    grooms outfit: we're hiring his and the ushers outfits from burtons. we need to organise a time and date for the boys to go down and get measured up. neil gets his outfit for free cos we've got 4 ushers. might get best man to organise that.
    wedding docs: all done and dusted. gonna meet the registrar 6 weeks before wedding to go over our vows and to meet them and to get an idea of what we do on the day etc.
    VOWS: NOT DONE!!! NOT EVEN THOUGHT OF!!! lol

    What about music for the cemermony and during the meal, menus, orders of service, place cards. You will need to clear the ceremony music with the registrar so that is your deadline (I am trying to do this!!!)

    we've picked our music already and they aren't religous at all. we're off to see the registrar 6 weeks before the wedding date (september time) menus, orders of service and place cards and table name cards are being done by Neils neice and she's getting them done over the summer holidays as she's at uni at the moment. so we'll have them by september time.

    cake: we have the cake sorted my friends mum is a cake maker by profession and is doing ours for us.

    decorations hmm...we know we're having balloons from birthdays and we've asked 1 company to quote us for a twinkle light curtain thingy (make sense?) but we dunno if we're having that or some balloons over the top table.

    seating plan i can do on here which is always fun

    what is an order of service???? lol and readings for the service i have NOOOOO IDEA!!!! and sugestions? x
