So my wedding is in 2 weeks, we have booked all the rooms (7) the night of the wedding, and 2 rooms the night before - 1 big room for me and my bridesmaids, and the other big room for my mum and partner (flying up from london) to stay in, then all the men are going to get ready in that room on the day of the wedding as its very spacious.
Went to pay the final balance today and they said they have already booked those rooms to other random people. I hadnt put a deposit down as the lady i spoke to when i booked them said she would book them in my name and I can pay the full balance when my final bill is due.
No idea where I stand on this as I havent paid a deposit for them - but now I cant stay at the venue the day before, my mum cant and the men have no where big enough to get ready. Venue are saying as the other random people booked and paid for the rooms on b00k1ng.com they cant move them out.

Hey, I wouldn't be p,eased either but I suppose if you didn't pay a deposit or get any confirmation then you have little come back- I would speak to the person you spoke to tho and see if you can come to some agreement
the girl who booked it has left. i ended up having to speak to the owner and demand that the other people in them rooms be swapped to different rooms. After a day of going back and forth the fixed it. Luckily. I was raging :O x
