I think they look nice in the photo.. a lot better than some of the artificial roses I have seen. They seem to have a better shape to them x

Ooh yay what good news!

Had a very successful few days!

Had the meeting with the lady who will be making my flowers yesterday and chose and put my order through. This is a sample of the colours that will be in my bouquet, BM's bouquets will be the ivory colour and buttonholes will be lilac, OH's will have lilac and ivory so that he stands out. Love them and can't wait to see them when they are done!



I also ordered my sister's BM dress yesterday, I have only ordered one so I can get an idea of the sizing and look of them before I order the rest. That way if I don't like them I only have to send one back!

OH also ordered 17 jars, 2 scoops and 50 personalised sweet bags for our sweet table, managed to get all of it for £20! Major bonus points to him lol!

So excited that we are getting on with so much more now, it's all starting to feel a lot more real!

I will post pics as soon as it arrives! My sister is the same size as me so I might have to have a sneaky try of it haha! Fingers crossed they look as good as I'm hoping!

It is the first wedding related thing he has bought so even happier with him that he got them for such a bargain! Should only cost us £20/£30 to fill the jars so it will work out much cheaper than hiring! x

I am thinking of 'retro' sweets like dolly mixtures, flying saucers, white mice, refreshers, love hearts etc, then some H@r!bo and lollipops etc, just so that there is something for everyone. Got a while to decide though thankfully!

Booked a lady to do my make up :) she has quoted £70 which includes make up on the day, the trial and weekend lashes. Good price since other quotes I've had have been way over £100 :)

Also, OH's uncle has offered to pay for our wedding cake! All of my quotes have been so expensive so I have been thinking of settling on a cheaper one, this now means we can get the one we first wanted! :)

Got the bridesmaid dress I ordered yesterday, it came on Tuesday apparently but our neighbour didn't knock with it until yesterday, only ordered it at the weekend! This one will be my sister's and as we are the same size I couldn't help but try it on lol, I am tall so it was a little too short (shows my feet) but all of my bridesmaids are 5'5" or below so it will be plenty long enough for them!

Here it is...I love it, it is exactly what I wanted and looks just like the photo's I had seen :) the other two have now been ordered!
