    Hi All

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I am getting married on 29th February this year and I can not contact our photographer and I am after some advice.

Me and FH booked our photographer 18 months ago after meeting her at a wedding fair at our venue, we have met a couple of times since at our home, we paid her in full last May.
We had some contact with her just before Christmas regarding our pre wedding shoot and she said she would be in contact in the new year, early January we set a date for 8th February at 11am at our venue, on the 8th 90 minutes before we were due to meet she messaged us cancelling as her little brother had been taken ill.

We went back saying sorry to hear this and tried to rearrange and now we are getting no response at all via messages or voice mails, we have learnt that late last year she closed down her business however insisted she would honour all existing bookings.

Both myself and FH have left messages for her saying if she is unable to photograph the wedding that's fine, just let us know so we can book someone else however at the moment it is radio silence and were both starting to panic.

Any advice would be most welcome??

I would message her with the following

We booked you for our wedding & arranged to meet you at the venue prior to the day , you cancelled this meeting but we understood why.
Since then despite numerous messages you have failed to make any contact with us.
If you do not contact us with in 3 days we will have no option but to start legal proceedings against you personally for return of all monies paid.
We have consumer rights under the supply of goods & services and as you have failed to maintain contact with us we have no faith in you delivering the service as stated in the contract ....( I really hope you have one )
