Okay, I know chances are we are going to collapse on the bed and fall asleep.... but in case we don't, I have a question about underwear for the night, it has been bothering me for a while.

I'm not planning on wearing my nice set during the day as obviously it might be uncomfortable and might not go under the dress properly.

I was thinking of having a suspender belt with suspenders and a nice bra, possibly wearing the belt and suspenders during the day and then I just have to pop the bra on later lol.... but the corsets are lovely... this might sound like a silly question, but am I the only person who struggles with putting fancy underwear on myself? Oh usually helps me... but would that not ruin the effect on the night?

Should I struggle through and do my best to put it on myself and risk him falling asleep while waiting? Ask a bridesmaid to help? or get him involved?

Don't bother, sleep without any hun. We were so knackered I fell asleep in the undies i was wearing all day. I didn't even remove my makeup! Just brushed my teeth and took my hair pins out.

Depending on how much of a struggle, if it's TOO much, are you comfortable enough to ask a bridesmaid to help you? Part of their job to help you get ready. Keep it a surprise from OH if you can, he'll appreciate it more x

Ive got completely different underwear for the night, I'm not wearing any of my night outfit in the day or I will be uncomfy! And if we do pass out and he doesnt get to see it im gonna take my outfit on honeymoon for our first night away :)

I'm gonna have to be helped out of my dress, never mind into other clothes! xxx

To be honest I haven't really given the nightime stuff any thought - I know what we're like - we'll drink far too much and will collapse in a drunken heap on the bed!!!! Can't see that being romantic and/or sexy at all haha. Good idea to keep "that" outfit for first night away on honeymoon ;-)

I'm not bothering with the sexy undies for bedtime, we will be very drunk and just want to rip each other's clothes off. Either that or we will be so drunk we will collapse in a heap and crash out

I bought my underwear today. I'm just wearing some comfy silk french knickers i've got the suspender belt on order, not tried it on yet although i will be trying it on in the shop before i take it home, to make sure that it's the correct fit as i want to ensure that i am super comfy for the day x
