    Hi peeps
So today I have been to check out a hotel which we could stay at for our wedding night (we have no on site accommodation at our venue), it is a 4-star country hotel and spa, I would like to stay in one of their King Executive Rooms which would be £209 including breakfast, I don't mind paying this as the hotel is lovely and it is a special night, my h2b things this is pricey for one night, however as I would never normally pay this I don't think it is expensive for the occasion. What is everyone else paying for their wedding night accommodation please ?

I don't think £209 is bad, though I would suggest possibly taking a gamble and booking a lower category the emailing in advance (week or so before) letting them know it's your wedding as you might get a free upgrade (we've blagged one a couple times).

Our wedding night accommodation was £270 (should have been £360; it was the bridal suite at the venue). It was AMAZING! Hoping to go back for our 1st anniversary :-)

I'm staying at a spa hotel the night before the wedding and night of the wedding as like you we have no on site accommodation either ... Ours is £149 per night in a two room suite ( bedroom and separate sitting area and bathroom with a separate shower) the first night myself and moh and the children get a 3course meal included too plus breakfast in the morning both mornings...
Definitely see if you can haggle anything in with the price xx

Our wedding night we have actually got the bridal suite of the castle we get married at included in our ackagr. I am however paying £200 (£50) discount for myself and three bridesmaids to stay the night before so we can all get ready on the day.

We have a hotel further down street from Museum which we are looking at £200-£250 for the night but the rooms are huge and it walking distance so will be easy to return to collect stuff the next day from venue :)

Our honeymoon suite is included in the package we have went for but we are staying the night before and the family room is costing £99 including breakfast. I would pay £209 for our wedding night accommodation if it was in the right place.

Ours is a 4 star hotel and spa and they have given us our room at a discounted price of £135 as we have guest stopping aswell. and i will also have a room the previous night. £209 is prob about right, you could always ask if they could give you any offers or discount as its your wedding night. wont hurt to ask as your not losing anything

Our rooms are £135 each - it should be a bit more than that, but this is the flat rate for all the rooms as we have paid for exclusive use. If all the rooms get taken up then they will let us have the bridal suite for free.

I think for your wedding night £209 is very much acceptable! x
