Hi, me and my H2B want to make our own wedding invitations and are struggling to find a design we want. Has anyone made their own, how did it go? Can you show pictures for inspiration.
    Thank you

My Save a Dates I made using parcel tags, distress inks and custom stamps I had made with miniature keys and ribbon

My wedding invites I made on photo shop after finding some great inspiration that worked well with my theme and I just need to find a printer now to get them sorted.

Didn't make our own invitations, though I could have done (just left it a bit late and was only going to save about £2.50 per invite so couldn't be bothered), however, I did make the rest of the stationery (save the dates, menu/name cards, table names, seating plan, and thank you cards), so I'll pop photos on my profile tomorrow. We had a classic/elegant theme so all ivory with ribbons and pearl/diamanté embellishments. Was really pleased with them, though they were pretty fiddly and time-consuming to make, and not dirt cheap.

Have you checked out V15t@pr1nt? We got our invitations RSVP's etc from there, even personalised thank you cards. We also got loads of freebies like personalised pens with our names and wedding date on them and personalised note pads. Prices are very reasonable and saves loads of time rather than making them yourself x

Im gettin my invites from bayofE, i Found a pic on google i loved for making a few signs like guest book sign and a camera sign for tablea. Then by chance found them on invites on ebay requested a sample their quality is great they do a free online proof of your invite before you order them so you know if its right for you most would only provide proof after purchasing

Im hoping to get them sorted before xmas my dads offered to pay for them so im just waiting for the money and to sit down with them and work out the exact wording. Sinxe they r paying ive gave them option to have them inviting people or us. To leave a space to write names in or not (i think with our no kids rule we will be leaving a space for names so theres no confusion)
