My parents are not married and I am the eldest of three siblings so I am the first to get married in my close family and so I didn't know all of the ins and outs. One of which being wedding insurance - i didn't even know that it existed. So I have booked suppliers (nothing completely paid off though). If I am to get insurance now will this still be covered?

I think generally everything booked within 2 years of your wedding date will be covered, regardless of whether you took the insurance out before or after the booking/payment. It would be worth double checking with the insurer though to be absolutely sure. I would definitely recommend getting covered as you never know what might happen - IMO, a small cost for peace of mind.

My wedding insurance was taken out 2 years before the wedding date (couldn’t take it out any earlier) but covers everything that has been booked for the wedding.
I have it through D3b3nh@m5
