I am planning on going to a wedding fayre tomorrow but I have never been to one before, so I am not sure what is expected of us? Could you read through my worries and answer all or any please. I have numbered them so I know which bit your replying to. Thanks in advance girlies.xx
1) If you have been asked to RSPV for a fayre should you expect a reply???
2) Do you have to arrive at the advertised start time??
3) If yes are you expected to stay until the end?
4) Was it rude of me to RSPV for me, H2b SIL2b and her partener??
5) Should I ring them or is it too late now??
6) Shall I just turn up??
7) Should I have informed them of my food allergy??

ok 1) If youve been asked to RSVP then yeah it would be a poilte thing to do 2) If its an open fayre as they mostly are then usually you can go at any time between say 11 and 5 3) Again if its open then you dont need to spend all day just as much as you want to 4) No 5) Nah 6) Yeah! 7) I wanna go if your getting fed aswell!!

Well
I was asked to RSPV and I haven't had a reply yet, its tomorrow.
It runs from 10am till 2pm.
It's a bit too far to go to get turned away, and it would be too late to go to the ones closer to home.
Plus as it's near to his sisters we have arranged to see them as well, they haven't yet confirmed if they are coming or we are meeting them after (and just learned that she might be in London at the mo?? So much for being organised)

well maybe ring them first thing in the morning chances are there will be someone there first thing as people will be setting up.
Well we're going anyway, and if they turn us away we're gonna just go shopping.

I doubt they would turn you away. The majority of them are a turn up basis anyway, I'm sure you will be fine x

If they give you Food at a Wedding Fayre they usually offer a selection of Canapés - at this point you can politely decline them or ask the ingredients - I have a nut allergy so I understand that one. Usually a venue asks their clients to Rsvp simply to find out who out of their clients are going. This is not binding. Hope that helps xxxx

Well I went to the fayre, no food, canapes or free bubbly.
Got my hair done and got a whole lot of bumf!
One lady made me give her my email addy as she was trying to sell mens suits at £450 a pop (minimum) I politely explained that was way out of my price range, even with the discounts she was mentioning and she still persisted in grabbing my mail so I laughed and gave in, she was so cute.
Its funny how that 7 second rule is so true to form. I fell in love with people or hated them instantly! Will be going on a massive trek to one womans bridal store just because she was lovely and I don't even know her prices or like the dresses she had on display!
