I am having trouble finding a car for a reasonable price and was wondering how everybody else is getting on?
I really want a cream colour old style car, but most quotes seem to be around £400 to take from the house, to church then to reception. Don't know if I can justify that cost to my partner.

I wanted a vintage car the quotes ranged from £350 to £850. We instead went for a vintage route master London bus for £595 but this will take our whole wedding party to the ceremony venue and then all our wedding guests to the reception venue.

I wanted the exact same thing but again didn't want to pay the price for not even an hours worth of use. So one of h2bs colleagues offered us his navy blue vintage volkswagen beetle that is in mint condition for the price of fuel and a drink. So not even £30. It stunning. It may be worth asking colleagues as we've also got another of his colleagues doing the photography and dj for £400 for both xx

We paid £700 for 2 cars, a Bentley for me and dad from home to church (almost an hour drive) Then hubby and I to reception and another 7 seater Mercedes limo to take my mum, grandmother and bridesmaids (plus dad) to do the same journey x

Im paying £440 for 2 cars,a beaufort open top for me & my dad and a 8 seater limo for my bridesmaids & flowergirls thats from the house to the ceremony and then to the reception.

I am having a 1936 Rolls Royce Phantom. It is making two journeys. Once with bridesmaids then coming back for me and my dad. It cost £375. I have also hired a stretched limo for my H2B, his best man, brother, 3 sons and one of my daughters and her partner. He doesn't know about limo. He thinks he is going in a merc taxi.

We had a 1930s cream Beauford and it was perfect. We paid £250 as we booked it early and it took bms from my house to church came back for mum and MoH and then returned for me and dad and after it took me and hubs to our photo location and then to our venue.

im paying 375 i think and it is making two trips from my house to the church first to get my bridemaids and then me and my dad. i need to think about how bridemaids are getting to the reception as we will be using the car

I would say that's pretty average! This is our car which is a 7seater rolls Royce phantom which has cost £345 doing 2 trips, once with the bridesmaids and then with me and dad ... but cos we are in lincs everything seems slightly cheaper as we nowhere near a city

We're lucky as h2b best man's father in law has offered us 3 cars! A range rover for the bms, 2 seater jaguar for h2b n BM, and old style rover (forget the make) for me and dad' so generous! I looked at a cream American Chevy but they wanted £490 for only 2 hours so we decided against it. X
