Hey ladies,

As our wedding is hosted by our children we are looking for another poem, maybe even to write one.... would love some help as the "proposal poem" you ladies helped with worked magically!

To give you some idea of what i am looking for is...
to him its a bit of paper
to me its family. iv always had a different surname to the rest of my family (thinking on it we've all had different names, my mum has had 3 surnames, my sister had her dads name, my bro had his dads name, now our children are double-barrelled. our wedding day, we will all share our surname, our wedding day we will become mr & mrs K-T.
Much as we gave our kids both names, to me its as if they are allowing us to share their names. to be a proper family. to be the only 4 people in the world who have our surname! on our wedding day i will finally have a family thats not "broken".

We need the poem to be written as if its from our kids and includes the sharing of their name.

Any ideas would be great thank you

I have decided to do some tissue pouches for the ceremony guests. I will have them laid out on the seats by one of my lovely BM's before the ceremony.

I'm about to make the first "tester pouch" before doing the final run of pouches. I have just ordered some peel off's ready for the pouches.

Ok so yesterday I....
1. received a swatch of the correct colour for my dress. Alfred angelo Claret Red
2. received an invoice for the guestbooks & pen/pen holder & paid
3. Ordered the parchment paper for the favours
4. Ordered the water pearls

Today I...
1. Received 5 meters of Claret Red ribbon that matches the swatch & therefore my dress perfectly. This will be used to decorate the post box & to go round the bridesmaids waists to add a bit of colour to their dresses as requested by my amazing Bridesmaids.
2. Sent a small piece of the ribbon to the company that makes wedding veils in the UK, who will be making my veil to order.
3. Started selecting music for all areas where a song is needed.
- Enterance of the Bride (30 excerpt) Des'ree - Kissing You
- Signing of the register - Shania Twain - You're still the one
- Exit of Bride & Groom (TBD by Groom & his over 3000 tracks of music he likes) (So far possibles are Billy Idol - White Wedding & Halestorm - Beautiful With You)
- Toasts & Speeches kick started with - P!nk - Raise Your Glass
- First Dance - Aerosmith - Don't Wanna Miss A Thing
- Last Orders - (Thinking Halestorm - Here's To Us as it states "We could just go home right now, Or maybe we could stick around for just one more drink, get another bottle out, sit back down for just one more drink" However this does having a bit of swear words in.... but at the same time its the typical stuff me & h2b would say lol)
4. received the peel off's for the tissue pouches.... Now I just need to get the tissues which i will do tonight before £land closes! & This gives me & Lovely Leesa something to do tonight for Leesa Wednesdays!

Well I know what my grandparents & h2b's grandparents are like. I know there will be tears. There always are at weddings. So I created a little tissue pouch to match our stationary & hold a few tissues in for our guests tears. This way they match our stationary & is much nicer than sticking a packet of kleanex tissue on the seats.

For demonstration purposes I have glued 2 pieces of A4 paper of different colours together.

Take a piece of A4 card (not too thick but not as thin as paper)
Have this LANDSCAPE infront of you
Mark 2 inches from the top
Mark 5 inches from the top
Mark 1 inch from the bottom
Markers

Fold at the 2 inch marker
2 inch marker

turn card round and fold at the 1 inch marker
1 inch marker

Turn Card over
Turn Over

Fold at the 3inch marker
Inside 3 inch marker

Outside 3 inch marker

Place desired amount of tissue in centre
Tissue Placement

Turn over
Fold at edge of tissue on both sides
Folding the back
Securing Tissue

Weave the back into each other
Weaving
Weaving

Turn Over & Decorate as desired

Feeling a bit put of f at the fact that i cant find anymore vases like the one i bought for valentines from the wonderful £land..... may have to resort to "Pilsner" glasses....

Ordered my veil but due to Easter have not been able to contact them to make a payment. So will be paying on Tuesday... then it should only take 10 working days for my veil to be made and delivered..... So that would make delivery to be.... 16th April!

The table plan is the biggie at the moment, I've done a first rough draft but can't really finalise that until I get all the RSVP's back which is annoying me something rotten. We have final dress fittings in the diary for the end of the month. Few more bits and pieces to do for tables etc. like the name place cards and table name cards but in the main I think things are all set. Couple of display table things to sort out.

Suppliers need paying, I've paid about half of them their balances now so just the rest to pay :S

Ok so my veil is now paid for (ordered 28th but couldnt pay til today due to easter) & should be with me middle of next week!
They also are able to get ties in the same colour so I should be recieving a quote via email as to how much the ties will cost, colour matched!

As soon as the kids are ready to go out, shoes coat etc I will be heading off to get more card for Evening invites, & 3 silver frames (gift table, seating plan & rememberance)

Ok so I have now bought some jars for the centre pieces as these were cheaper than Pilsner glasses. I found the jars in 99p shop. I have also decided to fill them with water pearls, and flowers.

3 jars will have red water pearls with black flowers poking out the top
3 jars will have black water pearls with red flowers poking out the top.

I have also bought 3 photo frames today, I could only find gold ones I liked so have sprayed one silver, then realised I needed more silver spray paint and so have sprayed another grey (I had excess grey from a previous project) in the hope it will need less silver spray on the long run. But then I ran out of grey too. So I shall need another can of grey and at least 3 more cans of silver, unless I can find a larger can for cheaper than 3 small ones.

I now have enough black & red card to make a start on the evening invites, although I dont know how many of these I will need.

Have just read a post about writing to F1 etc, so I have decided to write to John Cleland, Motorsport racing driver. Have found the official site so will do this in the moro as h2b is hovering.... lol

mate of ours just stated he will pop over for a "chat" about drivers etc to see which others h2b likes & also mentioned ken block. And i just thought about total vauxhall too.... See if they will create a front cover for the mag that has us and h2b'cars on it so i can frame it for him.... Hmmm ideas...teeheee

ok have been thinking about gifts for h2b again, so far my ideas are...
1. Socks - So you don't get cold feet - Got
2. two piece ring - puzzle piece he has half, i have the other half - Got
3. Mini JD - Dutch Courage (He can use the hip flask i bought him for fathers day one year engraved with "love you loads, Kate, <insert sons name> & Bump") - Got
4. Cuban Cigar - Not to be smoked on the night or he don't get laid!
5. Boudoir shoot (would ask someone i know to do this as im aware of a few girls that also want to do something like this so we could all take photos of eachother one drunken night... it be fun!)
6. Book - Don't for Husbands
7. Best Wishes stuff from car peoples (top gear, Ken block, john cleland, total vauxhall) - 22/5/13 got john cleland

Two piece puzzle ring and socks arrived this morning.... Not due til 12th!

Almost got the boudoir shoot organised.... Have 2 girlies interested... One more than the other but i was expecting that.

Well I didnt think I wanted one but the more I see them the more they are growing on me so I've just ordered a MR & Mrs sign. It will come "natural" - So unpainted. I will spray the "MR" black the "&" Silver & the "MRS" red to match me & h2b & our theme.... for £5.99 cant really complain. I have also Ordered my Wedding Lingerie too & this will be used in the photo shoot I am planning for his gift.

Ordered BM's Dresses, slightly different than the ones pictured, due thurs or fri. Spent all afternoon trapsing 2 kids and a BM round city centre looking for shoes..... only 3 pairs found and one BM has now settled on a pair but the other the lovely leesa was not with us so will still need to try them on from primani, although hopefully by the time the dresses are here she could try the shoes on with the dress so all will be right in the world lol

Still however have not found the red shoes with the black bow in any shop

Yeh but knowing me it will be the shoes i wont have on the day as i'll b too busy looking for them it will b too late to order.... I know what i am like!

Got an email from John Cleland this morning... Asking what I would like him to send h2b so I said a letter and/or a signed photo of him driving etc.

Me & BM's did the boudoir photoshoot last night and got a bit camera happy.... There's more photos of Bobbie than there is of me.... Ooops lol oh well when my veil arrives there will be more of me then....

Veil - Its gorgeous.... (Did some photos in it, boudoir type, & its decided.... my b00bs are far too huge!!!!)

thank you... not bad for £5.49 each really..... I have put the red ribbon on myself (or I say I will be putting it on myself, for the photo it was tied with a hair band and the back but have ordered self sticking velcro for it)

I like them so much I have ordered one for myself for summer lol
