My father is not a part of my life and i don't really have anyone who is in place of that farther figure. Me and my mum were discussing who would walk me down the aisle, at first we discussed my mum walking me down the aisle and the thought she has role of mother of the bride, My partner is only having 2 best men and thats all, so it was suggested maybe that my younger brother could walk me down the aisle. Would it be better for my mum or my brother to walk me down the aisle?

Personal choice ultimately and who you'd prefer.

I asked my brother as my father passed away. It means a lot to him it's what I wanted. Just pick who you want

I lost my dad when i was a little girl, so I grew up with the plan to ask my mum's Dad as he was the father figure in my life, sadly he passed away 4 years ago. My mum has always said no as she wanted to enjoy her role of mother of the bride. and after looking long and hard at my uncles, (I only have a sister who is my MOH) I have asked my H2B, step father (H2B Father is no longer with us) as through out the whole of our relationship he has treated me as one of his daughters, and he never got the chance to walk his daughters down the aisle, and this means alot to him.
and this could mean a lot to your brother also, but it is your choice at the end of the day.

When I got married the first time my mum walked me down the aisle, but feel that she missed out on MOB stuff. My brother is not talking to me at the moment, he is being a drama queen. So I have decided that my baby boy who will be 2 when we get married will walk his mummy down the aisle xxx
My father walked out on all us kids and I have a step-dad but although she has been with him 12 years, none of us like him as he is violent and we don't get on out of all of us as i stand up to him. So me and my sister have always said that we would ask our granddad to be, we are big granddads girls and I cant wait to ask him later on in the year when I go to visit him. I have 'grand father of the bride' to give him too :) But it is down to preference.

Neither of my parents are in my life, they both left at different points. Everyone thought that I would have my brother or sister walk me down the aisle but I am not close enough to either of them for that. My best friend who is more like a sister has been the only constant thing in my life since I was 3 is going to be walking me down the aisle, she's the only one who truly deserves the honour.

I think mums still have quite a major role in a wedding anyway, so I think it'd be nice to give your brother some attention too x

It's your personal choice only you can decide. It depends on who you want and your relationship with them.
