Hi i just wondered if anyone had been married in chesterfield, derbyshire, where they had it, price, and details about it, really. we looked at maybe getting wed abroad and then having a "do" in chesterfield for friends and family. but would love any details anyone has on getting married in chesterfield, packages they had etc. thank you so much in advance for your time and any info.

I nearly go married in Newstead abbey which isn't too far away in Nottinghamshire. Its a beautiful setting and not that expensive as they have more than one wedding on a Saturday. (have to compromise somewhere) I think when we went to do it in 2006 it was £500. It makes for great photos and also helps to maintain the restoration of the building.

Hi there! My friend gets married next year & I'm sure her venue is near Chesterfield. They are only having their reception there as they are having the ceremony in a church. I think the place is Ringwood Hall, but I have no idea about cost or packages that they may do. x x x
